Established in 1978 by Alvin Chandler and Michael Reynolds, with vast experience in the industry, today Atlas Ball and Bearing is overseen by Owner and Chairman, Alvin Chandler, and Managing Director, Mark Blackshaw.
The company began when a gap in the market was identified for precision metal balls that were otherwise difficult to source. Dedicated to creating specialist jobs and remaining close to our customers in the UK.
We have invested heavily in development, machinery and processes for the manufacturing of precision balls in ‘exotic’/ high performance materials which included Hastelloy, Stellite, Monel, Inconel, Titanium and other nickel and cobalt based alloys, which we continue to supply to this day.

We’re capable of supplying loose balls in nearly every variation of grade and material available.

All of the raw material used in the factory is sourced from either Europe or the USA.

We have an exclusive partnership with a ball manufacturing plant, which is one of a few in the UK.
