High Performance Alloys

High Performance Alloys (HPA's) are materials that exhibit certain key characteristics which make them suited for use in highly demanding applications. Features include high corrosion resistance, heat resistance and high strength.

We are Europe's Leading Manufacturer of balls in High Performance Alloys including,

·         Inconel (625, 718, X750)

·         Hastelloy (C22, C276)

·         Monel (400, K-500)

·         Titanium (CP, 6Al4V)

·         Duplex and Super Duplex Stainless Steel

·         Stellite 20

Inconel alloys are oxidation-corrosion-resistant materials, well suited for use in extreme environments subjected to pressure and heat - it's a favourable choice in marine and aerospace industries.

Hastelloy alloys have an excellent resistance to localised corrosion and to a variety of mixed industrial chemicals. They're typically used in oil and gas applications, chemical processing and pollution control.

Monel alloys are high corrosion resistant materials made up of nickel and copper. They have great ductility as well as a high corrosion resistance to acids and alkalis, making them a good choice for use in the manufacture of chlorinated plastics.

Titanium is a lowweight, high strength material, immune to corrosive attacks by salt water or marine atmospheres. It has an exceptional resistance to acids, alkalis and industrial chemicals, making it useful in marine and offshore engineering.

Duplex and Super Duplex

Duplex stainless steels are designed to provide better corrosion resistance and higher strength than standard austenitic stainless steels such as 304 or 316. By increasing the chromium content, you get Super Duplex - this material has a higher resistance to abrasion and makes a great material for use in subsea equipment.

Stellite is a cast cobalt alloy material with high abrasion and corrosion resistance. It's typically used in homogeniser pumps, slurry pumps and chemical resistant parts.
